In each corner in blue applique are the words Love, Truth, Union, and Peace within red borders. Around the central inscription in a block pattern in red and blue applique is Nunda Lodge/No. 86, McHenry Co./Ill. '65, Faith Hope/Pure, And Charity/Water, Gen's Grant, Sherman, Sheridan, and Thomas.
