Title: Commemorative quilt Description: Quilt with a painted portrait of Oscar De Priest, set within the lower corner of a blue and gold fan which opens out against a solid gold background. The Oscar De Priest/Charity Club/1920-1933 is appliqued in blue letters beneath the portrait. Quilt has a solid blue, scalloped border. The painted areas of the quilt appear to be sized and unvarnished. The quilt is appliqued and embroidered. Red ink layout markings are visible for quilted and painted designs.
