Title: Abraham Lincoln death relic Description: Two silver half-dollar coins attached to a card by one half inch wide black ribbon and sealed with black wax using George V. Rutherford's seal with the old English letter R accompanied with four affidavites (see Authority File for photostat of these documents) stating that they were placed on Abraham Lincoln's eyes after his death, as directed by the Hon. Edwin M. Stanton, Secretary of War, by Colonel George V. Rutherford. One half-dollar is dated 1854 the other, 1861.
