Title: Marshall Field & Company wood and porcelain doll Description: Caucasian wood and porcelain doll body without head from Marshall Field and Company wearing a blue dress and a white pinafore with blue stripes (possibly Alice from Alice in Wonderland), white stockings, and bright red shoes; doll's body is made of wood; knee, wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints are very loosely held together by a single metal rod allowing for separation of the joints; head is also attached by only a single metal rod; head is made of porcelain and features blond hair in two pigtails with blue ribbons, pink cheeks, an open mouth, and blue eyes that open when the doll is sat up, Chicago.
