Martin Luther King Jr., Reverend Ralph Abernathy, Fred Shuttlesworth, and others marching to the Dallas County Courthouse to hold a public memorial service in honor of Reverend James Reeb, Selma, Alabama, March 15, 1965. Reeb was a civil rights activist who participated in the Selma Voting Rights Movement and was beaten to death by a group of segregationists.
