Portrait of Miss Margaret Bitner, sitting in a room in Chicago, Illinois. A barrel is visible in the background. She was the lover of George Jones, who killed his wife and her sister and brother. Bitner drove Jones from the scene of the crime, unaware of what he'd done. Jones later committed suicide and Bitner was exonerated of any complicity.
