This mask of Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) was taken by Leonard Wells Volk (1828-1895) in Chicago in 1860 and reproduced in bronze by Mr. Jules Berchem, the donor, who received the original model from Mr. Volk in whose studio he worked at that time. Mr. Berchem, the donor, was the proprietor of the American Art Bronze Foundry, Chicago.
