Image preview window
Clicking on each thumbnail image on the site produces a preview window which can also be displayed by clicking the double arrow icon when hovering over the image thumbnail.
This pop up window displays a larger version of the thumbnail image and specific information about the image including:
- Image ID – A unique identifier that functions as a reference for the image
- Headline – A brief summary of the image content
- Date Created – The date that the artwork or object depicted in the image was created
- Creator – The name of the person or entity that has created the artwork or object depicted in the image
- Creator Role – The job title of the person who created the artwork or object depicted in the image
- Artwork/Object Depicted – The artwork or object type of the original item
- Copyright Notice – The copyright status of the image
- Credit Line - The minimum information required to credit the image when it is used
- Inventory Number – The accession number or call number used to reference the physical artwork or object
- Storage Location – The location of the physical artwork or object within the museum’s collections
From image preview window, it is also possible to do the following:
- Add the image to a lightbox
- Add the image to the selected Cart
- Add a license option to the image
